Close-quarters tactical self-defence
You’ll develop instinctive responses for close-range encounters with both armed and unarmed aggressors, learning how to move from verbal de-escalation into a measured physical response when required. Training emphasises movement and control under direct threat, smooth transitions from empty-hand techniques to firearm options, and CQB-specific retention and control drills so you can dominate the immediate fight space to have a chance of survival.

Point shooting & firearms defensive tactics
This module focuses on instinctive shooting under stress and rapid target acquisition without relying on sights. Through dynamic, confined-space engagement drills you’ll practice instinctive point shooting, efficient transitions between retention, empty-hand and firearm solutions, and decision-making cues that let you apply force accurately and proportionately in fast, high-pressure scenarios.

Integrated tactical first aid (TECC-based)
Tactical casualty care is taught as an operational skill, not an afterthought. You’ll practise rapid casualty assessment, immediate bleeding control and tourniquet application under threat, and contested-zone casualty evacuation techniques. The emphasis is on applying TECC principles while maintaining tactical awareness — so teams can stabilise casualties and extract them without compromising mission or safety.

Integration & outcomes
All skills are brought together in realistic, instructor-led scenarios that force decision-making under stress: when to engage, when to move, when to treat. By course end you’ll have trained to able to detect threats, control the fight space, stabilise casualties, and execute safe evacuations in close-quarters, high-threat environments.
